These links prepare an email in your email application. Nothing is submitted to Rhino Works until you send it. Feedback goes privately to the business mailbox; it does not create a beta registration or a new Admin Dashboard record. The sender address and information you choose to include will be received so we can respond. Please use fictional examples and avoid customer details, credentials, attachments containing sensitive information or abusive messages. Your email provider's normal controls apply.

Register beta interest using the existing form if you would like to be contacted about beta opportunities. This is separate from sending feedback.

Frequently asked questions

1. What is Rhino Works?

A developing UK trade-business software platform bringing materials estimating, quotations, invoices and job tools together. You can explore the current interactive demonstration.

2. Who is Rhino Works designed for?

UK tradespeople, sole traders and construction or maintenance businesses. The demonstration also lets general contractors explore shared tools across trades.

3. Which trades are supported?

The current 15 choices are:

  • Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Ventilation
  • Building and bricklaying
  • Carpentry and joinery
  • Electrical
  • General contractor / All trades
  • Groundworks
  • Landscaping, paving and fencing
  • Painting and decorating
  • Plastering and flooring
  • Plumbing and heating
  • Property maintenance
  • Roofing
  • Tiling
  • Windows, doors and glazing
  • Other trade

Support varies by task. Specialist work uses editable schedules and professional-selected specifications, rather than automatic technical design.

4. How do materials calculators work?

Choose a job, enter measurements or quantities and the relevant product assumptions, then calculate. The 42 calculators and estimators produce illustrative quantities or editable schedules. Verify measurements, specifications, waste allowances and manufacturer requirements before real use.

5. Can I change calculated materials and prices?

Yes. Review and edit the material description, quantity and unit cost before adding the section to your quotation. Catalogue prices and relevant waste allowances are editable. Service estimators also provide editable additional charges.

6. Can I create quotations and invoices?

Yes, using fictional information. Save a quotation in the page session, mark it Accepted in Quotes & invoices and choose Create invoice. Existing preview, print/Save as PDF and HTML download tools let you review or share a document manually. The demonstration does not send invoices, take payments or book plant hire.

7. Can I switch between different trades?

Yes. Choose Change Trade. Your existing draft, saved page-session documents and prices stay available. Your trade preference can optionally be remembered on that device for 90 days; this does not make your work permanent.

8. Is Rhino Works free to try?

The interactive demonstration is free to explore without registration. Beta interest is optional. No commercial subscription price is finalised here.

9. Can I suggest new features?

Yes. Use Suggest a Feature above to tell us about missing calculators, materials, templates or other improvements.

10. How do I report a problem?

Use Report a Problem above or email rhino_works@hotmail.com. Describe the steps and use fictional examples. Avoid sending passwords or customer information.

11. Are demonstration prices accurate merchant prices?

No. All displayed demo prices and rates are fictional or illustrative test values. Actual merchant prices, stock, labour, equipment costs and VAT treatment must be checked independently.

12. Is my demonstration work saved permanently?

No. The existing demonstration holds work in that page and clears it on refresh or after 60 minutes. Download or print a document if you need a copy. A beta-interest registration is stored privately, but it does not create a customer account or permanent document storage.

13. How can I contact Rhino Works?

Email rhino_works@hotmail.com for general, beta, feedback, technical support or business enquiries. Website: rhinoworks.co.uk. A guaranteed support response time has not been announced.

14. When will the full software be available?

A launch date has not been announced. Register beta interest to be contacted about opportunities. Permanent accounts, commercial subscriptions, live payments and advanced safety features must not be assumed to be available in the demo.

Estimates and regulated work

Demo prices are fictional and material quantities are estimates. Verify measurements, specifications, adjustable waste assumptions and actual merchant prices. Gas, F-gas, electrical, structural, glazing and other regulated work require appropriate professional review. Calculators do not replace technical design or statutory certification. Existing trade-specific notices remain part of the estimating workflow.
